I'm currently attending the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where I study mining engineering. I love learning, and I love to help others learn as well. My favorite subjects to tutor are trigonometry and algebra because I really enjoy the myself. I live in a fraternity house, so I'm always helping my friends in various subjects, and they have improved their grades and understanding through my help. I enjoy helping students become confident in their abilities in math, and I accomplish this by assisting students to understand the fundamental concepts involved in each subject so they can apply the knowledge effectively on coursework and exams. I also have students work through a lot of practice problems so they can develop their problem-solving skills and refine and retain their understanding. I'm comfortable helping students in subjects like elementary and middle school math, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, pre-calculus, and pre-algebra. In my free time, I enjoy fly-fishing, hiking, and cheering for St. Louis sports teams.
